Pierre Hermé created Macaron Day in 2005. Every year, all of the Relais Desserts association pastry Chefs participate in this initiative in their shops, in France and around the world.

In 2017, the Savoir-Faire Day was created to ensure the spread of Haute Pâtisserie’s know-how around the macaron and to highlight this day under the sign of solidarity.

Pierre Hermé, Jean-Paul Hévin, Claire Damon, Thierry Mulhaupt, Laurent Duchêne, all of the Relais Desserts pastry chefs mobilized for master classes at the Institut du Cordon Bleu in Paris.
